“Kind and Loving Housemate”

GIZMO’s Story…

Gizmo is about 9mo of age and weighs about 7lbs (should be under 10lbs fully grown). He has a very flashy look and carries himself well. He minds well and is house broken.

gizmo

Gizmo is a handsome chihuahua/boston terrier mix. He was rescued by his foster mum at a high-kill shelter at the front desk where someone was about to dump him.

One could see the fear in his eyes, he must have known what his possible fate could have been. His foster mum fell in love the moment she laid eyes on him. When she went to pet him, he immediately gave her such sweet kisses all over her face. She knew then and there she could not allow him to be put in the shelter. So she begged the lady to let her have him and off they went. Whew! how lucky was that.

He is sooo sweet, gentle and loving, not to mention smart too! He loves to go under covers at night and keeps his mum nice and warm. Gizmo just adores his new brothers and sisters and loves to play long and hard. He doesn’t mind cats and tries coaxing them to play.

Gizmo is extremely easy going and has no issues, his spirit is very gentle and he will make a perfect family member. What more could you ask for?
“I am house trained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.”

“Widget the Widge?”

Hazel Widget’s Story…

approaching 10 months old, she is a super-model sized, long and lean, 21 pounds…looking at 22-25 pounds max when fully grown.

Hazel Widget, (aka “Widget,” aka “The Widge”) has not quite found her forever home yet despite her charm, beauty and all out wonderfulness! She is the center of attention in her foster home, running the show with her two-canine foster siblings. Friends in the neighborhood enjoy saying hi to her when she is on her walks and her foster mom enjoys her steady cadence during their runs a few days a week (average 1.5-2 miles). Widget loves to play with her toys next to her foster mom’s desk during the day and continues to sleep under the table when her foster dad brings home work at night. In addition to this, she can often be found during prime time tv (especially Brian Williams Nightly News Cast & Rock Center…hmmm) on the lap of either foster parent…but will often choose the lap that already has a dog (go figure!!). She has thrived on a Raw Diet and is seeking a home that will continue to provide her with that diet so that she will lead a long and healthy life, reducing her potential for canine allergies and other ailments. She has done well with basic training and with the support of some puppy classes will be the top dog in your household!
